Nasi Kerabu


Hello to all blog reader. This week we would like to share about a traditional food in kelantan. It is named Nasi Kerabu. It is usually eaten at the morning before going to work. It comes light blue in colour. This colour made by using bunga talang petal. Now this flower petal hard to be get. We can get nasi kerabu in two new colour white and yellow, but we still can get the light blue in colour. Nasi kerabu which comes yellow in colour are made by ginger flavoured. Ingredients used to make nasi kerabu are rice, pea, kesum leaf, bean sprout, fish, coconut, coconut milk, onion, garlic, ginger and dried pepper. Here how to make nasi kerabu. First, rice must be cook with enought water until the rice dried, then the fish baked and it meat taken to be crush until delicate. To make it souce, put in thecoconut milk, onion, garlic and dried pepper that has been spin together into pot. Cook it with a low tempreture. After the souce condensed, put in some salt and wait for three minute. To present it, mix the rice with baked fish meat and vegetables that has been cut into small pieces completely. Serve it with souce and budu. And here your nasi kerabu.
